Continua con Sander Bokkinga la rassegna Plartonvideo curata da Marco Petroni e dedicata ai nuovi talenti della scena nazionale e internazionale del design.

Sabato 20 marzo - con apertura straordinaria dalle 10 alle 18 - presso la sede del Plart in via Martucci, 48 a Napoli verranno presentati alcuni oggetti realizzati in esclusiva per questa mostra dal designer olandese. Hosepipe è il titolo del progetto nato dall'idea di riciclare vecchi tubi per innaffiare trasformandoli in fantasiosi elementi d'arredo come sedute e lampade. Un video inedito racconterà il processo creativo e realizzativo della collezione.

Laureato in Architettura alla Technical University of Delft (NL), Sander Bokkinga è uno dei più talentuosi designer emersi autonomamente nella frizzante scena olandese, ispirato da Droog Design così come dal lavoro di OMA (Rem Koolhaas), Joep van Lieshout, Victor and Rolf. Attento alle declinazioni etiche del progetto, sin dai suoi primi lavori ha mostrato grande sensibilità nel creare oggetti e ambienti capaci di sottolineare un rinnovato rapporto tra natura e artificio progettuale, inserendolo in una prospettiva più umana.

La mostra resterà aperta fino al 14 aprile 2010

The exhibition programme Plartonvideo goes on with a Sander Bokkinga´s show, edited by Marco Petroni, dedicated to the new talents of the national and international design panorama.

On Saturday, March 20^th - with a special opening from 10 am to 6 pm - some new items exclusively created by the Dutch designer Sander Bokkinga will be displayed at Plart Headquarters in 48, Martucci Street, Naples.

Hosepipe is the title of the project, whose concept is inspired by the idea of recycling old flexible pipes, in order to transform them into fanciful fittings like seats or lamps. A new video is going to recount the creation and realization process of the collection.

Graduated as architect at the Technical University of Deft (NL) Sander Bokkinga is one of the most talented designers of the sparkling Dutch designers´ scene, inspired by Droog Design as by the work of OMA (Rem Koolhaas), Joep van Lieshout, Victor and Rolf . Always meticulous about the ethical nuances of a project, ever since he made his first artworks, Sander Bokkinga has shown a great sensitivity in the creation of objects and environments able to underline a renewed relationship between nature and project mastery, inserting it in a more human perspective.

The exhibition will be opened until April, 14^th, 2010.
